We settle because we don’t believe we’ll achieve something better. We stop dreaming and lose hope for a different outcome and instead start conforming to the one built around us, letting go of past aspirations. As we grow older we become more aware of our surroundings and start to forget that innocence that colors childhood as wonderful. Yet, if there is one lesson we must strive to always to remember it is that dreams can become a reality. If we think it, it’s possible; it just hasn’t been discovered yet. No great success was ever achieved without a bit of struggle. We all have dragons to face and obstacles to overcome but the beauty of those childhood lessons we tend to disregard is that they taught us that eventually we will get our happy ending. That doesn’t mean that everything will be perfect but it teaches us that it will be worth.
