Everyone has a story; a detailed beginning, middle and end that has shaped their lives into what it is when we stumble into it. Yet, sometimes we forget that and only see them for the bits and pieces we catch a glimpse of. No one is perfect, it’s not encoded in our DNA, so we shouldn’t set those levels of expectation of someone when in reality it’s just a level of limitation. Everyone has a story and in their own, they’re always the main character trying to figure out what’s right and what’s wrong. Don’t paint them as a villain in your own, if you haven’t given them a chance to show you otherwise. I was once told there are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. It’s not the easiest thing to do but once you see the light in the world around you, you open yourself up to the beauty and opportunity in it as well.
