No one is ever happy every second of the day. It’s impossible. We’re built to feel other emotions, our values and minds fighting to see which one will win out. Yet, we can’t allow these emotions to dictate our lives. Anger is normal, the same way sadness and joy are. It’s healthy to throughly experience each one, but when we get stuck in one stage, frozen without reach of the others, that’s when they become toxic. Stop bottling up your emotions, stop hiding tears behind fake grins. Allow yourself to truly feel, to breathe in and let go, for that is when you will understand what happiness is.
